John Livingston

John Livingston is the CEO of the 25 year-old ICS/IIOT cyber security & automation solutions provider, Verve Industrial.  He joined Verve after a 20+ year career at McKinsey & Co. serving global clients on how communications technologies can and will impact industries.  His research and client work has covered topics from cyber security to leading change in connected industries to designing robust data networks for IIOT.  Since 2015, John has focused on helping Verve’s clients secure their industrial control systems as well as develop innovative network strategies to create secure and reliable IIOT connectivity.

John was named a Henry Crown Fellow of the Aspen Institute in 2006.  He serves on the boards of several private technology companies.  In 2015, he received the Distinguised Alumni Service Award from Northwestern’s Kellogg Gradate School of Management.  He serves as trustee of various non-profit institutions such as the Chicago Museum of Science & Industry and the Big Shoulders Fund for inner city education.

John graduated from Princeton University in 1989 and from both Northwestern University’s School of Law as well as its Kellogg Graduate School of Management in 1993.
